Words are pretty awesome when you think about it. Take a few of 'em, line them up into sentences, knead them into paragraphs, and mix them up with some white space, and suddenly those tiny black marks weave together like silk or smack up against each other like surf on rocks to form unputdownable stories.
I love cooking up my own fresh unused words, but I also love critiquing and editing other people's, helping them make the best use of those tiny black marks so that they come to life and form their own unputdownable stories.
So I decided to start off the new year with something I've been wanting to do for a while: setting up an editorial service. And to celebrate this new venture, I'm having a little giveaway. Yay free stuff!

The Prize: One Submission Package, worth £45 ($75), which consists of a critique and edit of your query and first ten pages. One pass on both, including my thoughts on your premise, the story so far, and detailed line edits. Line edits include spelling, grammar and syntax corrections, as well as my thoughts on cadence, dialogue, voice, character, prose, plot, clarity and anything else that comes up. This package also includes an MG/YA agent list for UK and/or US agents, plus title help, if required.
All You Need To Do: Chances are you found your way here because of Twitter. So if you haven't already, please RT my tweet about the giveaway (or use the button below). Then comment on this post with a way for me to get in touch with you should you win. That's it!
Bonus! If I get over 25 entries I'll give away two packages.
Closing date: Midnight GMT, Friday 17th January. (When I'll pick a commentator using my patented let-the-cat-choose randomizer.)
Thank you and I look forward to reading the winning pages!
